Low Voltage Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in low voltage systems, telecommunication and network installation and configuration. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems or fulfill any other available work orders
• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing installations.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate system design and installation.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
• Perform system testing and inspections to ensure proper functionality of installed equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to low voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with computer networking principles and remote access software.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
