Position Summary:

The Manager of Office Operations serves as a key partner to the Executive Director, ensuring day-to-day oversight of the Foundation office while driving financial stewardship, operational efficiency, and community engagement. This role requires an understanding of grant application processes, financial strategies and asset management to support the Foundation’s mission and long-term sustainability. The Managing Director of Operations plays a central role in maintaining smooth office operations, overseeing administrative processes, and implementing improvements for organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Office & Operations Management

● Provide daily management and oversight of the Foundation office, ensuring efficiency and organization.

● Maintain a consistent in-office presence during established business hours.

● Oversee office operations, facilities management, and workflow optimization to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.

● Implement process improvements for administrative workflows, record keeping, and operational efficiency.

● Lead efforts to modernize and digitalize board minutes, financial records, and organizational documentation, ensuring accessibility and compliance.

● Supervise office technology and administrative systems to support the Foundation’s operational needs.

● Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Financial & Investment Oversight

● Partner with the Executive Director and Board to lead financial strategy, ensuring prudent asset management and investment growth.

● Work with financial advisors and the finance committee to optimize returns.

● Manage financial reporting, audits, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring fiscal accountability.

● Develop financial policies and risk management strategies to protect assets and uphold transparency.

Board & Governance Support

● Provide timely financial and operational reports to support Board decision-making.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
