Mechanic

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and heavy operating equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs
- Perform brake repairs, including pad replacements and rotor resurfacing
- Repair and replace components such as shocks, struts, belts, hoses, and filters
- Assemble and disassemble engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
- Weld or fabricate parts as needed
- Operate heavy equipment as required for repairs or maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Skilled in welding or fabrication techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills to explain repairs to customers

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
