Full job description
Paragon Force, Inc. is seeking one Junior Mechanical Engineers to join our team and contribute to high-visibility root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts supporting Submarine Main Storage Batteries. These efforts are critical to fleet readiness and play a key role in strengthening national defense capabilities.
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will support engineering and analysis activities related to battery systems, manufacturing processes, and system performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team and gain hands-on experience supporting mission-critical submarine systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data from manufacturing processes and operational performance of submarine battery systems
- Support root cause analysis efforts to identify and resolve performance or reliability issues
- Develop data packages, reports, and technical briefs for stakeholder updates
- Monitor laboratory testing and assist in evaluating test results
- Author and contribute to technical test reports for stakeholder distribution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in evaluating system performance and recommending process or design improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with data sets
- Effective communication skills for preparing reports and presenting to stakeholders
- Ability to work in a team environment and support multiple engineering efforts
Pay: $54,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
