Member Service Representative

Leatherstocking Region Federal Credit Union is growing! We currently have an opening for a full-time Member Service Representative at our office in Cooperstown, NY.

REPORTS TO: Director of Member Relations

SUPERVISES: N/A

BASIC FUNCTION: Assist members with daily transactions

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1). Process daily money transactions including deposits, withdrawals, IRAs, certificates, etc.

2). Make changes to accounts.

3). Order/reorder debit/credit cards.

4). Process transactions received via mail

5). Process night drop deposits.

6). Open non-checking sub accounts.

7). Close accounts as needed.

8). Answer telephones.

9). Other duties as assigned.

COORDINATES:

1). Special needs of the members.

2). Special projects from other departments.

ASSISTS WITH:

1). Coverage of other areas based on staffing needs.

2). Answers basic loan questions regarding rates and terms

MINIMUM EXPERIANCE AND EDUCATION:

1). Computer experience.

2). Ability to work with extreme accuracy.

3). Excellent organizational and customer service skills.

This is a Monday-Friday position during normal business hours with occasional Saturdays required on a rotating basis. Prior banking or cash handling experience is preferred but not required.

Pay range: Starting pay is between $18.50-$20.00 per hour DOE. Full benefits package available. Generous 401K match and 401k profit share after one year of employment.
