JOB TITLE: Part-Time Adult Education Math Teacher (Geometry) James H. Groves Adult High School 9:00 am - 12:00pm &/or 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm (Mon & Wed. &/or Tues. & Thurs.)
LOCATION: Adult Education Division- Marshallton Building
REPORTS TO: Building Administrator
QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold or be eligible for Delaware Teacher Certification in High School Math or Groves Adult Education Permit.
GOAL: Provide instruction in Math (Geometry) to adult students who are seeking their high school diploma.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Plan, organize and provide instruction that supports all levels of students with methods that are accepted as best practices in this field.
- Maintain and communicate attendance, performance, and growth data with students and staff in a timely manner.
- Proficient computer skills including Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Schoology, and the use of Zoom and/or Teams for online courses.
- Participate in monthly professional development opportunities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by administration.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: September through June
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $33.00 per hour
