Pest Control Technician

Holmes Pest Control, Inc. is a locally owned and licensed pest control company located in Millersburg, OH. With more than 35yrs of experience, we have earned a reputation for providing safe and green pest control methods, as well as high-quality customer service to both residential and commercial customers.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Pest Control Technician to join our knowledgeable and dependable team. This role involves servicing a route that includes both residential and commercial accounts. Applicants should be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect properties for signs of pests and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Apply pest control products in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Communicate with clients to explain treatment procedures and provide recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Willing to work in a variety of weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor.
• Must be willing and comfortable working with rodents as well as a wide range of insects and general pests.
• Move up to 10lbs regularly and 11-20lbs occasionally by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Exerting up to 50lbs of force to move objects is occasionally required
• Must be able to work full time Monday-Friday 8a-5p (sometimes later during the summer months, with occasional Saturdays)
• Navigating to customer homes efficiently and able to follow a scheduled route
• Looking for a candidate who can start first week of March 2026

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• (Preferred) Previous pest control experience or state certification
