Full job description

Overview
Responsible for installing underground piping systems that connect buildings to water supplies, sewers, and stormwater management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing Ground Conditions: Evaluating the site to determine the best approach for laying pipes.
  • Digging Trenches: Excavating trenches to accommodate the pipes, Positioning, setting, and maintaining vertical/horizontal grade control for piping operations, including monitoring of all elevations, grades and lines as required to ensure conformance to plans.
  • Assembling and Laying Pipes/Structures: Connecting and positioning pipes according to specifications and city ordinances.
  • Removing Old Piping Systems: Dismantling and disposing of outdated piping as necessary.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring that installations meet required standards.

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
