**Job Overview:**
MPS is seeking a diligent, experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily and business operations of our growing private behavioral health practice. If you possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills and are looking for a supportive work environment in which your talents will be respected and appreciated, MPS may be right for you! The Practice Manager must be conscientious, meticulous, and self-motivated. Top candidates will be adaptive, able to multitask and delegate efficiently, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be familiar with office and practice management/EHR software, regulatory compliance in healthcare settings, and payroll and healthcare billing. Ideal candidates will have experience in healthcare office management and come highly recommended. A degree in healthcare management, health administration, or related field is preferred.
**Duties:**
- Manage the overall functioning of the practice, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality care with compassion and inclusivity
-Serve as the primary liaison with contracted billing company
- Actively assist in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and credentialing
- Implement and maintain clear office policies and procedures
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, payroll, and revenue cycle management
- Collaborate with providers on utilization management to optimize resources and enhance client outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
-Manage inventory and maintenance
-Maintain information systems and records in compliance with relevant standards
- Handle inquiries and issues expediently and in a professional manner
-Prioritize provider, staff, and client relations to foster a progressive, nurturing atmosphere
**Experience:**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Proven experience in medical office management or related field
- Familiarity with practice management/EHR software
- Strong understanding of healthcare management principles
- Proficiency in payroll, revenue cycle management and budgeting
- Ability to lead a team effectively and foster a positive work environment
