The Line Up has been helping teams make lasting memories for over 35 years! As leaders in design-forward custom apparel, our mission is to inspire joy, confidence, and connection within our Line Up family – both customers and team members. Our customers include studio, high school, and collegiate dance teams, NFL and NBA cheerleaders, synchronized skaters, and artistic athletes from all over the nation.

About the Job:
The Product Development Coordinator supports the execution of prototype projects from concept to completion through project management. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on coordination, enjoys a variety of tasks, and has a strong interest in apparel, particularly in the dancewear industry. This position creates a strong foundation for growth within the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Proto Project Coordination
- Schedule prototype timelines to align with service level expectations and meet company turn time goals.
- Monitor and update NetSuite prototype statuses throughout the development process.
- Notify supervisor of any off-track prototypes or delays.
Coordinate/Fit Session Facilitation
- Review prototypes before fittings to confirm all specifications are accurate.
- Coordinate and ensure all necessary parties, including remote employees—are present for fit sessions.
- Document fit notes in NetSuite, take photos of styles, and file/send accordingly.
- Coordinate any required changes with sewing team lead and ensure they are completed.
Maintain Design/Proto Records
- Prepare prototypes for shipping, including creating kits with designer notes.
- Send shipping notifications and ensure delivery to finishing station on time.
- Create, build, bill, and close work orders in system while maintaining inventory.
- Maintain clear communication with the team regarding prototype status.
- Takes initiative to support evolving team and business priorities, including additional responsibilities as needed.
About You:
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- General understanding of garment construction and garment terms.

- Collaborative and accountable, with strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Able to stand and sit for extended periods.
Education and Experience:
- Apparel related degree
- Minimum 1 year apparel related experience and demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination.
- Strong interest in apparel, especially in dancewear or performance wear.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, and move for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Position Details:
- Wage dependent on experience: $20-22 hourly
- Full-time Monday–Friday, based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
- To ensure customer needs are met, this position requires flexibility and may occasionally involve working more than 45 hours per week to accommodate business demands and other responsibilities.
- Classification: Non-exempt.
- Reports to: Technical Design Supervisor.
