Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production activities for 15-25 full-time employees in a first shift operation. Departments include:

Bottling/Filling

Assembly/Kitting

Decorating

Shipping & Receiving

  • Oversee daily operations in shipping and receiving, filling, and warehouse/inventory control
  • Constantly and consistently monitors production to ensure deadlines are met, quality is up to standard, and that efficiency is maintained
  • Perform first piece sign offs for quality
  • Meets production goals by allocating resources accordingly
  • Communicates with management regarding production staffing, operations, issues, and successes
  • Recommends personnel actions such as promotions, discharges, and disciplinary measures for operations staff to Production Manager and Human Resources
  • Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
  • Enforces procedures and monitors production to minimize inventory waste and shrinkage
  • Physically receiving raw materials into warehouse, and coordinating with purchasing and/or supervisor to ensure inspection and identification of issues
  • Properly organize and arrange the warehouse for efficient storage of inventory
  • Coordinate with other production members to ensure proper cleanliness and organization of all warehouse areas
  • Monitors all inbound/outbound shipments including LTL, small package, International, and DSV
  • Help develop SOPs and lead by example

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing operations. Ideal experience includes: bottling/filling operations, warehouse, production, assembly, shipping/receiving, pick & pack, and silkscreen printing/decorating. Bilingual is a plus. Bachelors’ degree preferred.

References and a clear drug test (paid for by the company) will be required.

POSITION TYPE:

Full Time: 40-50 hours per week

Anticipated hours: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (including lunch). Shift is 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

SALARY LEVEL/COMPENSATION:

Compensation is based on experience. $50,000 - 70,000 based on experience. Incentive compensation also available. Additional benefits include: paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays; participation in 401(k) plan with Employer match; and excellent group medical benefits plan.
