Salary & Compensation Package: $42,000 per year
Base Salary $35,000
Benefits $7,000 (approximately)
Job Summary:
Program Coordinator is a key member of the Lincoln Heritage Council programs and administrative teams. The role is responsible for working with the Director of Camping and Director of Support Services to develop material and support to the program, training, and advancement committees of the Lincoln Heritage Council. This position also coordinates office support and resources to deliver excelled customer support, leading to improved member retention and overall membership and program growth.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Works with council staff to support program, training events and advancement through registration, online databases, reporting collateral material and customer support.
- Support Director of Camping in annual Camping Report, to include tracking unit High Adventure participation and out-of-council summer camp attendance.
- Customer service focused with keen attention to detail for data entry and reporting.
- Process Eagle Scout applications, verifying data and processing extensions if needed
- Support Council product sales with order fulfillment and tracking.
Physical Activities and Requirements:
- Physical requirements include reaching, standing, walking, pulling, twisting, pushing equipment, bending, hearing, stretching, grasping, lifting, repetitive motions, computer keyboarding.
- Position is office based, where prolonged periods of sedentary sitting may occur.
Position Qualifications:
- Complete BSA-provided training once hired
- Possess skills in verbal and written communication, multiple concurrent tasks, customer relations, detailed work, record keeping, problem solving, stress management, confidentiality and reasoning.
- Basic knowledge of computers (Windows, Microsoft Office) and use of email and the internet.
- Detail oriented, adaptable, organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Committed to the values and mission of the Boy Scouts of America.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
