Program Leader for TK-8 After School

The Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark & Simi Valley is seeking part-time Program Leaders to work with elementary and middle school students during our out-of-school programs at our Clubhouse and school site locations in Simi Valley, CA.

In this position, after school program leaders will implement FUN activities, lead group games, assist with homework and academic enrichment activities such as math, science, literacy and other areas. We are seeking dedicated and responsible candidates who enjoy working with children and making a positive difference in their lives. We prefer candidates who possess an AA degree, however select candidates with a high school diploma and relevant experience will be considered. First Aid and CPR certification is also required. First Aid / CPR training will be provided to selected candidates who do not already possess a First Aid / CPR certificate. All candidates will be subject to fingerprinting and a background clearance prior to employment.

This position works varying shifts Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm and 1:00pm - 6:00pm on Thursdays. The pay rate is $17.00-$17.50 per hour with opportunities for advancement.
