Project Architect
8–12 Years of Experience

Position Summary
Charles Vincent George Architects, Inc. (CVG) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Architect with 8–12 years of professional experience to lead the technical development and coordination of architectural projects from conceptual design through construction completion. The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with strong technical expertise, consultant coordination experience, and the ability to lead internal production teams while maintaining high standards for quality and project execution.
Primary Responsibilities
· Lead the technical development and coordination of architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
· Prepare, oversee, and review construction documents for accuracy, coordination, and completeness.
· Coordinate architectural drawings and specifications with consultants and engineering disciplines.
· Ensure project documentation complies with applicable building codes, zoning ordinances, ADA requirements, and life safety regulations.
· Conduct internal QA/QC reviews prior to permit and construction issuance.
· Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and internal project reviews.
· Review submittals, RFIs, and contractor requests for information during construction.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Architectural Staff and Intern Architects.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
· 8–12 years of professional architectural experience.
· Licensed Architect preferred but not required.
· Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and building systems.
· Experience preparing and coordinating comprehensive construction document packages.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam REVU and specification coordination.
