Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shipping and Receiving Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the Shipping and receiving department, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of inventory management. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics.

Responsibilities:

Manage the Shipping and receiving to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in Shipping and receiving operations.
Oversee materials handling procedures to ensure safe and effective movement of goods within the warehouse.
Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the Shipping and receiving area.

Experience

Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor, with a focus on receiving operations.
Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and materials handling techniques.
Experience with logistics coordination and process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment such as 5 ton and 10 ton Cranes is REQUIRED.
Previous Forklift Certification Preferred and will retrain and certify
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems
