About the Role

Are you looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in the heart of the High Country this summer? We're hiring a Part-Time Retail Associate to join our Banner Elk team for Summer 2026! Whether you're a local resident or a seasonal employee, this is a fantastic chance to be part of a community-focused retail environment. In this role, you'll be the face of our store — helping customers find what they need, keeping our floor looking its best, and being part of a team that takes pride in great service.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver outstanding customer service every shift
  • Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system
  • Restock and organize merchandise and displays
  • Support store cleanliness and visual standards
  • Assist with inventory receiving and pricing
  • Collaborate with your team to meet sales goals

What We're Looking For

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people
  • Reliable availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus — but not required!
