Rollback Driver / Tow Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Rollback Driver / Tow Operator who lives in or around the Spring Grove, Hanover, Abbottstown, East Berlin, Thomasville, and New Oxford areas to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating rollback trucks and tow trucks to transport vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient vehicle recovery operations. Your mechanical knowledge, driving skills, and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism will be key to your success. Starting pay -Based on experience.

Duties

• Safely operate flatbed rollback trucks and tow trucks to load, transport, and unload vehicles across various locations.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics and basic mechanical inspections to assess vehicle condition before recovery or transport.
• Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during vehicle pickup or drop-off.
• Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed or impatient customers.
• Use automotive repair knowledge and mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor issues with trucks or vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, transports, and vehicle details for record-keeping purposes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or rollback vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills coupled with conflict management abilities.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week
