Full job description

The Board Store Home Improvement, Inc. seeks a Scheduling Associate to support daily operations by assisting with the coordination of installation and service activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate job information, supporting organized scheduling processes, and ensuring clear communication with customers and internal teams. The Scheduling Associate plays a key role in delivering a positive customer experience from initial contact through final billing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling measures, installations, service calls, and work orders based on availability and job requirements.
  • Update and maintain the daily schedule and digital board to ensure job details and changes are accurate.
  • Contact customers to confirm appointments, communicate schedule updates, and answer basic scheduling inquiries.
  • Create and maintain work orders in MarketSharp, including entering notes and ensuring job details are accurate.
  • Support coordination of subcontractor schedules by ensuring job information is complete and communicated.
  • Assist with tracking material deliveries and communicating updates to scheduling and operations teams.
  • Maintain communication with installation crews and internal teams to support job progress and address basic scheduling changes.
  • Process installer paperwork and documentation, including uploading DoForms to Global Search and preparing warranty or cleaning packets.
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: High school diploma required. Previous experience in customer service, scheduling support, administrative support, or office coordination preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and scheduling requests.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues when needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
