Security Officer

Duties
- Act as a visible deterrent to prevent unauthorized access or activities
- Monitor and control access at entrances
- Conduct security checks of personnel, vehicles, and bags as required
- Submit reports of daily activities and incidents
- Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in emergency situations

Requirements
- Must have a valid security license or certification
- Previous experience in security or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV, and access control systems preferred
- Military or law enforcement background is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Weekends only

Work Location: In person
