Job Description:

Censys Technologies Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on developing and enhancing mission control interfaces for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and other autonomous platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools like QGroundControl (QGC) or MissionPlanner and will be responsible for creating intuitive, reliable, and scalable software solutions that enable operators to manage and monitor autonomous missions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications and services using a LAMP stack.
• Design and implement responsive and mobile-first user interfaces using Bootstrap.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using the Yii framework.
• Create and manage MySQL databases, including schema design, and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to define project requirements and deliver timely solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in the LAMP stack: Linux server administration, Apache configuration, MySQL database management, and PHP programming.
• Demonstrable experience with the Yii framework.
• Expertise in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Proficient in using the Bootstrap framework for responsive design.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., jQuery, Vue.js, React).
• Familiarity with package managers like Composer.
• Understanding of web security best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
