Full job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FUSE + Java Developer to join our team for the CalHEERS project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RedHat FUSE development, along with expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot development. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions, contributing to the success of the CalHEERS healthcare eligibility, enrollment, and retention system.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing integration solutions using RedHat FUSE.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Java SE and Java EE.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the Spring framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building microservices.
  • Familiarity with other integration technologies and frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integration solutions using RedHat FUSE.
  • Collaborate with architects and other developers to design and implement scalable and efficient integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications, utilizing the Spring framework and Spring Boot.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to integration solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.
  • Contribute to documentation, including system design, implementation, and release notes.

Salary: $57.18 - $80.11 per hour
