Senior Manager, Ecommerce Fulfillment

Job Summary
We’re a growing ecommerce brand looking for a strategic operations leader to help us scale fulfillment in a smart, sustainable way.

This role sits at the intersection of growth and execution. You’ll own the big picture strategy of how orders get to customers. You will oversee a Fulfillment Manager, Customer Service Coordinator, and an Ecommerce Assembly & Fulfillment Coordinator. Your focuses will be on team management/ development, building systems, partnerships, and processes that support growth without sacrificing margin or customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build and own a scalable fulfillment strategy that supports business growth
• Partner with Ecommerce, Marketing, and Merch teams to support launches and promotions
• Plan for volume growth, peak periods, and new initiatives before they become problems
• Own fulfillment costs and work to improve unit economics as we scale
• Manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and fulfillment partners
• Oversee fulfillment systems (WMS, OMS, shipping, returns) and lead improvements
• Manage and develop a Fulfillment Manager who runs day-to-day operations
• Oversee a small Customer Service function and ensure strong alignment with fulfillment operations
• Use customer feedback to improve shipping, delivery, and returns experiences
• Partner closely with Ecommerce and Operations to ensure shipping promises match reality

• Fulfillment infrastructure is ready for what’s next, not just what’s now
• Seeking out new processes and improvements to our workflow and processes
• Working to reduce costs to lower overhead
• Lead, mentor, and scale multi-level fulfillment team members, including managers and coordinators.

What We’re Looking For

• 6–9+ years of experience in ecommerce fulfillment, logistics, or operations
• Experience scaling fulfillment for a growing DTC or ecommerce brand
• Comfort owning both strategy and execution oversight
• Experience managing 3PLs, carriers, and fulfillment systems
• Strong analytical and financial skills

Bonus points if you’ve worked in: consumer goods, apparel, beauty, or jewelry.
