Job Overview
We are seeking a Service Manager to oversee our daily operations for our Wilmington Branch. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing processes that enhance efficiency and profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead and supervise operational teams to ensure effective execution of business strategies.
  • Customer Communications: Field incoming calls and communicate status updates to customers
  • Job Tracking: Track Job status, updating customers on progress.
  • Parts procurement: Look up parts for Orders, Order parts from vendors and track parts status
  • Estimating: Build and produce estimates for Customers
  • Asset Management: Track tooling, vehicles and parts inventory
  • Expense Management: Track expenses both on orders and internally
  • Invoicing: Review orders and produce invoices to customers. Track AR and collect overdue invoices
  • Safety: Provide safety training in compliance with industry standards
  • Technician Training:Track technician training and look for appropriate schooling to aid in specific technican needs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase operational efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
  • Strong knowledge in computer programs including Quickbooks, Excel and Microsoft Teams

Experience

  • Proven experience in an operations management role or similar capacity.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Experience in profit loss management and financial oversight is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A background in process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
