Shipping & Receiving Associate (EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)

1st Shift, M-Th -10 hrs. per day, Occasional OT on Fridays

Basic Duties and Requirements Including but Not Limited To:

• Experience with shipping and receiving, BOL, order entry, shipping carriers is REQUIRED.

• Computer skills REQUIRED- Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and QuickBooks is a plus.

· Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

• Work side by side and hands-on with employees performing shipping/ receiving duties daily.

• Loading and unloading products on/off the truck using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.

• Staff and work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

· Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to calculate basic math and read/interpret customer paperwork.

• Maintain a clean and organized department.

• Provide excellent customer service to customers and build rapport with customers.

• Communicate with team members regarding any issues or delays with deliveries and/or pick-ups.

• Must demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities.

• Great attitude is a must with focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

• Knowledge of how to handle packages and materials safely to ensure quality and decrease risk of damage to products.

• Physical ability to load and unload up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
