Job Description:

It's a "Good Life" at DH Docks and we're hiring! The Shop Assembly position plays a vital role in the busy summer season. This person will work with the production and assembly of our aluminum docks and assist with installation and delivery of the docks and boat lifts as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Shop Assembly workers must fulfill a variety of roles ranging from customer service to extended days of physical labor, duties are not limited to the list below.

  • Repeated heavy lifting and carrying, up to 50 lbs.
  • Power tool operation (screw gun, drill press, handheld grinder, band saw, electric/air impact driver, etc.)
  • Forklift operation
  • Stacking material up to 7ft
  • On your feet for extended periods of time
  • Working in both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Assure and verify that all parts are included for each job
  • Load equipment needed each day
  • Driving pickup truck with trailer
  • Clean job site at completion of work
  • Provide courteous and prompt service to customers, home owners, and/or installers and dealers
  • Perform other related duties as require and assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid MN Drivers License
  • Good driving record
  • Must pass background check
  • Positive, can do attitude
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Dependability
  • Hard worker
  • Excellent verbal communication

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of lake life
