The Role
As our Sterilization Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment. You’ll be responsible for infection control, instrument sterilization, operatory readiness, and supporting the clinical team to maintain seamless patient flow and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strict infection control standards in accordance with OSHA, CDC, and state regulations.
- Properly clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments and equipment.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
- Monitor and document sterilization cycles, logs, and biological spore testing.
- Prepare and restock operatories before and after patient procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazard materials.
- Maintain organized sterilization and storage areas.
- Support clinical team efficiency by ensuring timely instrument turnaround.
- Assist chairside when needed and within scope of training.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.

Ideal Candidate
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA and Infection Control training (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Committed to maintaining compliance and high safety standards.
- Eager to grow professionally and stay current with industry best practices.

Full-Time: Mondays to Fridays, 6:30 AM – 3:15 PM
