Job Overview
Storage Portfolio – Racine, OH
We are currently seeking a full-time Storage Portfolio Manager for our Ohio and West Virginia facilities. Once hired, you would work at our corporate office in Racine, OH, but be available to travel 1-2 days per week to visit sites within the portfolio.
This is a great opportunity for someone with retail, leasing or hospitality experience to also gain some management experience. This position requires you to work independently, to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in an oral or written format and the ability to deal with problems, new challenges and change as necessary. The employee will generally split time between an office environment and outside work tasks. These outside tasks may need to be performed in either extreme cold or extreme heat.
$14.00 - $16.00/hour (with quarterly bonus incentives increasing your potential by $3-$5/hour.)
As a full-time employee, you will receive:

Preferred/Requirements Qualifications:
Driver’s License Required
Ability to pass a background/drug screening Required
Storage facility management experience preferred
Sales Experience is preferred
Some Saturday hours are required
Retail, hospitality and property management backgrounds are encouraged to apply
The individual must be outgoing, friendly and organized
Must have strong communication skills and a desire to learn
Must have proven reliability, be goal oriented and willing to adapt to a fast paced and quickly changing environment.
A High School diploma/GED equivalent and at least one year of related experience and/or training in direct sales, retail and/or customer service is required. Leadership skills and experience supervising others is helpful for growth potential.
Job Description:
● Communicate with prospects, professionally present the advantages of the properties, and ask for the sale
● Regularly answering phones, taking messages, and responding to email
● Completes all move-in and move-outs in a timely fashion
● Entering work orders into the property management software and
communicating needs with the operations manager
● Provide quality customer service and timely response to customer requests
and complaints
● Maintain property appearance and ensure repairs are completed timely
● Assure all move-outs are clean and made available for new occupant
● Utilize marketing strategies to secure applicant traffic and maintain
occupancy
● Process payments
● Communicate with occupants via phone and email to assure timely payments
● Maintain accurate records of all communications
● Follow and enforce policies of the company
● Process delinquent units for auction based on state laws and company policy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
