We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Superintendent to support our construction teams in managing residential home-building projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will assist in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, blueprints, and company standards.
  • Support project planning by reviewing plans, estimating timelines, and identifying potential issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve on-site challenges and maintain smooth workflow.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, to create a secure work environment for all team members.
  • Track project budgets, inventory, and equipment usage, reporting any variances to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in quality control by performing walkthroughs, identifying defects, and ensuring timely corrections.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders, with the addition of videos and pictures for each site to visually document progress, issues, and conditions.
  • Conduct video walkthroughs with attached pictures on each jobsite while on site, to be submitted as part of daily reporting for comprehensive project tracking.
  • Perform site clean-up and maintenance while on site to ensure a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Assist in procuring and picking up materials as needed to support the project.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior crew members and laborers as needed.
  • Handle customer interactions on-site, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience during the build process.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • 2-5 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant role.
  • Strong knowledge of residential building processes, including framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing work.
  • Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate construction sites safely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with green building practices or LEED certification.
  • Bilingual abilities (e.g., English/Spanish) to communicate with diverse teams.
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time and under budget.
  • Certification in OSHA safety training, CPR/First Aid, or relevant trade skills is a plus.
