Surveillance Agent
Job Title: Surveillance Agent
Department: Tribal Gaming Agency, Surveillance
Reports to: Executive Director of the Tribal Gaming Agency, Surveillance Managers and Surveillance Supervisor
SUMMARY
The goal of the Surveillance Department is to protect the integrity of the casino games and to uphold all policies and procedures as they apply to employees and patrons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
Possess a complete and thorough knowledge of the policies and procedures of the surveillance department.
Possess a complete and thorough knowledge of the facility System of Internal Control.
Checking the operational status of the equipment.
Gaming protection.
Monitoring all money areas.
Reviewing tapes for investigations.
Maintain D.A.R logs.
Report writing.
Surveillance and investigations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Required to possess a current Yocha Dehe Tribal Gaming License.
