Tree Climber

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, full-time Tree Climber to add to our tree crew at

Mockingbird Tree located in Rogers, Arkansas! We are a small business that takes

safety very seriously. We are hoping to grow our small but mighty team. We take

care of our employees and believe if our people are happy, our business will

naturally be more successful. We are looking for driven individuals that enjoy

working outside, have good teamwork, and good communication skills. At least 1-3

years’ experience preferred.

In this role, you will work on the tree crew that performs both Commercial and

Residential tree jobs locally in Northwest Arkansas. We are currently focused on

storm work since the latest storms that came through. You will work with the tree

foreman, equipment operators, and grounds crew to aid in tree removal and tree

trimming jobs. You will work as a team to make certain everyone is safe, climbing

trees when we are unable to use certain equipment, work as a team to help rake

and clean up debris, and help to perform the tree jobs at hand. In the event of a

storm or municipal contract, there are potential opportunities to travel out of

town, when the opportunity arises. You will be paid per diem and travel/lodging

will be covered at 100%.

Responsibilities

• Working on jobsite at both Commercial/Residential properties performing

tree removals and tree pruning

• Tree Climbing
• Assisting groundman with raking and hauling logs and tree debris to clean

up job site

• Assisting Tree Foreman, Equipment Operators, and Groundmen with the

tree job at hand

• Using a chainsaw or pole saw to cut tree debris to manageable size

Skills and Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Groundman and Climbing experience a plus
• Chainsaw operation experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• General customer service and commitment to resident satisfaction

All applicants must pass a criminal background check and must have a valid driver’s

license. Also willing to take a drug test if asked by management.
