As a new hospital, our front desk team will help define the client experience from day one.

This is a great role if you love animals of all kinds and enjoy being at the center of communication in a busy, multi-species practice.

Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to be one of the first faces of our practice. You’ll start in mid-January to help with setup, training, and scheduling before our official opening. You’ll be welcoming clients with dogs, cats, exotics, wildlife, and farm animals, and helping coordinate their care.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly greet clients and patients in person and over the phone

Answer multi-line phones, respond to emails, and manage online requests

Schedule appointments, surgeries, drop-offs, and follow-ups for a variety of species

Check clients in and out, review invoices, and process payments

Accurately enter and update client and patient records in the software

Communicate clearly with clients about estimates, reminders, and basic instructions

Coordinate with doctors and technicians to prioritize and triage appointments

Keep the lobby and reception area clean, welcoming, and organized

Help develop and refine front-desk procedures as the hospital opens

Minimum Qualifications

1–3+ years of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a medical office setting (required)

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor

Comfortable using multi-line phone systems and computer-based scheduling

Experience with veterinary practice software (preferred)

Comfortable interacting with clients who have exotics, wildlife, and farm animals, as well as dogs and cats

Organized, able to multitask, and comfortable in a new, growing practice

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

What We Offer

Competitive hourly pay

Opportunity to be part of the founding client service team
