Our mission is to combine truthful, accurate medicine with a warm, family-oriented environment for both clients and staff.

We are looking for a Practice Manager who wants to be part of building something from the ground up and is excited by the variety of a mixed caseload, including exotics and farm-type companion animals.

Position Overview
The Veterinary Practice Manager will play a key role in launching and running this hospital. You’ll help set up systems, hire and support staff, and work closely with the owner veterinarian to create a positive, efficient, and sustainable workplace that can support a caseload including exotics, wildlife, and farm animals.

  • Help create and maintain a positive, collaborative culture
  • Develop and refine SOPs and training materials as we grow
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist with budgeting and targets
  • Oversee inventory management (ordering, tracking, vendor relationships), including supplies for exotics and farm animals
  • Support client service standards and handle client concerns professionally
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA, and applicable regulations
  • Collaborate closely with ownership on strategy, marketing, and growth

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting (required)
  • Previous experience in veterinary management or as a lead/shift supervisor strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Comfortable working in and helping shape a new/start-up practice
  • Interest in or prior exposure to exotics, wildlife, or farm animals is a plus
  • Experience with veterinary practice software and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to prioritize in a busy, evolving environment
  • Customer-service driven with a calm, solutions-focused mindset

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Unique opportunity to help launch and grow a new hospital from day one
  • Collaborative, family-oriented environment with direct access to ownership
  • Diverse caseload, including exotics, wildlife, and farm animals
  • Staff discounts and potential for performance-based bonuses as we grow
  • Professional development and long-term advancement opportunities
