Company Description

Enduralock is developing the next generation of technologies for In-Space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM). We are creating core components that satellite providers need to refuel, upgrade, repair, and assemble their assets directly in orbit; transforming space from a final destination into a dynamic and sustainable ecosystem.

Position Overview

Enduralock is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President of Business Development to lead the company’s strategic growth initiatives within the aerospace and defense sectors. The VP of Business Development will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building and managing key customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through commercial, government, and prime contractor partnerships.

This role requires a strong understanding of the space industry, including space systems, satellite technologies, government contracting, and the broader aerospace and defense ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience developing business with U.S. Government agencies, major aerospace primes, and commercial space customers.

  • Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities across government, defense, and commercial aerospace markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including NASA, DoD, Space Force, prime contractors, commercial satellite operators, and strategic industry partners.
  • Lead strategy efforts for government contracts, SBIR/STTR opportunities, OTA agreements, and strategic teaming arrangements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and executive leadership to align technical capabilities with market needs and customer requirements.
  • Support proposal development, pricing strategies, customer presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Represent Enduralock at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and government events.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the space and defense sectors.
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships that accelerate commercialization and market adoption of Enduralock technologies.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline development, forecasts, and strategic growth initiatives to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant business development, capture management, or strategic growth experience within the aerospace, defense, or space industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working with U.S. Government agencies and major aerospace/defense prime contractors.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting processes including FAR/DFARS, SBIR/STTR programs, and federal procurement strategies.
  • Working knowledge of space systems, satellite technologies, spacecraft operations, or related aerospace technologies.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing high-value contracts and strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer engagement, conferences, and industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field required. Advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships within NASA, Space Force, DoD, commercial space companies, and major aerospace primes.
  • Experience supporting emerging space technologies and commercialization efforts.
