Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall warehouse operations of goods production & distribution services. The Warehouse Supervisor will learn the basic functions of each department, support areas as needed, and identify areas needing improvement, or areas with opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate operational activities within Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control departments.
• Maintain accurate and clear documentation of operational procedures and activities.
• Work with management & Sr leadership to review performance data & make recommendations when needed.
• Oversee and contribute to warehouse training for daily operations, including equipment safety procedures & preventative hazard assessments.
• Support activities needed for equipment preventative maintenance and storage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years’ experience managing a team of 5+ in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems, for production and distribution operations.
• Proven ability to work with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively present information to all levels of employees and management.

Other Job Demands

• Occasional work outside of normal business hours may be needed to meet business demand.
• Adaptable to varied climate conditions.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 40 lbs.
• Extended periods standing/walking/bending/stooping/kneeling on concrete floors.
