Full job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to yard operations and maintenance. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy equipment operation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Start School Buses early morning and move school buses late in the afternoon
- Boost Battery on Buses
- Wash and Clean Buses Inside and Outside
- Clean the seat covers on the School Buses
- Pickup and Dropoff School Bus Aides
- Be Yard Watchman (Ensure no trash in bus yard, and that buses are parked correctly)
- Move buses to and from the yard to the maintenance shop

-Fuel Buses as needed

-Ride as a School Bus Aide if Needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Yardman
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to perform basic repairs is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
