ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Produce accurate and well-organized architectural drawings that support project design and construction documentation.
- Support Project Architects and Principals through research, drafting, documentation, and coordination across all phases of work.
- Assist with site documentation, field measurements, and project research including code, zoning, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain BSD documentation standards, ensuring clarity, organization, and technical accuracy in project drawings.
- Organize project data, specifications, and product information to support efficient project development.
- Respond to direction and redlines thoughtfully while contributing to the overall quality and coordination of project deliverables.
- Develop technical understanding of residential construction systems, architectural detailing, and BSD standards
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; demonstrated ability to produce accurate, well-organized drawing sets to BSD office standards.
- Working knowledge of Revit is preferred; ability to navigate models, make drawing updates, and grow Revit skills over time as it becomes an increasingly central delivery tool at BSD.
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program is required.
- Three to five years of professional experience in an architectural practice or related design environment.
- Demonstrated familiarity with architectural drawing standards, documentation practices, and the architectural design process.
- Foundational understanding of building systems, construction methods, and residential detailing.
- Experience supporting architectural projects through multiple phases of design and documentation preferred.
- Commitment to professional growth and continued development of architectural knowledge and technical proficiency.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
We believe in rewarding hard work and dedication. The annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $68,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
