Today, we are excited to announce an expansion of our relationship with OpenAI, bringing Indeed’s massive job marketplace directly into the ChatGPT experience.

Through the new Indeed App in ChatGPT people can now launch a dedicated search experience directly from the ChatGPT Apps menu or by mentioning @Indeed directly. After connecting an Indeed profile and simply mentioning “Indeed” in a prompt, anyone can get a personalized job search experience that offers up job postings based on an individual’s saved preferences and qualifications. 

While we’re offering more ways for people to discover job opportunities, Indeed’s website and mobile app remain the primary places to apply to jobs and connect with employers, helping to maintain a trusted, familiar path from discovery through application.

The Indeed app in ChatGPT acts as an additional pathway to Indeed so both employers and job seekers get all the benefits of the knowledge that comes from our two-sided marketplace.   This gives Indeed a unique view into what leads to a successful hire, including the skills and experiences that lead to a match.

With Indeed’s vast talent pool of over 350M sourceable profiles, we learn from more than 140 million qualifications and preferences voluntarily shared by job seekers and employers every day to continuously train and improve our AI matching models. This supports employers in finding and engaging the right candidates.
