Contract Arborist Utility Inspector

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a safe, productive manner in all outdoor conditions (rain, wind, snow, steep and remote terrain)

• Associate Degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Job Description:

• Conduct inspections of completed vegetation management work in order to ensure compliance to applicable guidelines and /or standards for vegetation clearances and work quality.
• Aid utility in the coordination of their overall vegetation management program as required.
• Communicate work to be performed to the vegetation contractors.
• Assist with storm restoration or other emergency situations as directed by the utility.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation:

• Compensation is based on experience. Company vehicle will be provided. Company will pay for travel expenses while working out of town.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:

• Tree trimming: 1 year (Required)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)
• English (Required)

License/Certification:
