Private Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, and Voice Teachers

A music lesson company is seeking private piano, guitar, ukulele, and voice teachers. Being able to also teach more than one instrument would be a plus. Lessons take place in students' homes. We are only looking for teachers who already live in NYC at this time and can travel to homes in the city. Please do not apply if you can't teach in-person. Areas where we are most in need of teachers include Long Island City, Queens, Manhattan, and Westchester County. Please note where you can travel for lessons.

We work with students of all levels. Let us know if you can teach beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced students. You must make learning music fun!

This is a freelance position to add to what you are already doing. We look for music instructors who have their own teaching methods. We will not impose a curriculum on you (we do have resources available if you want ideas). You control your own schedule and what students you take. We are a flexible and transparent management team who handles billing and student policies so that you can focus on teaching.

Instructors who are a good fit for our company are punctual, communicative, and reliable. You must work well with parents and children. We are looking for motivated individuals who love to teach.

Requirements:

- College degree

- Some teaching experience

- Proficient musician

- Professional and reliable

- Able to pass a reference/background check
