Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Foundry Operator, where you will play a vital role in producing high-quality metal castings through precise and efficient operation of foundry equipment. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform grinding and finishing operations on castings using hand grinders and related tools
  • Support shakeout and blast operations to clean and prepare castings for further processing
  • Safely operate and assist with blast equipment and material handling processes
  • Move and stage materials throughout the facility using overhead cranes, forklifts, and other handling equipment
  • Load, unload, and position castings as needed to support production flow
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times, including hearing protection
  • Work in fluctuating conditions and a physically demanding environment while maintaining focus and safety awareness
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safe and efficient operations
  • Assist across departments as needed
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals and keep operations moving

Requirements & Qualifications

  • No degree required
  • Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, but not required
  • Reliable work history—consistent attendance and dependability matter
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, repetitive movement)
  • Comfortable working in fluctuating conditions and adapting to changing tasks
  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate grinders, overhead cranes, forklifts, and related equipment
  • Willingness to follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times
  • Strong teamwork mindset—able to take direction and support different departments as needed
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are a plus
