Full job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Drives truck to deliver company product to customer, and transport material to and from plant.

2. Loads and unloads material onto or off truck.

3. Makes minor repairs, has trucks regularly serviced, and keeps truck clean and neat at all times.

4. Fills out inspection sheets required by State regulations.

5. Reports major problems to supervisor.

6. Palletizes outgoing products.

7. Represents the company “on the road”.

8. May interact directly with customers.

9. May do internal general bindery work when no driving work needed.

10. Maintain all equipment in your area in a clean and safe manner; report any problems to supervisor immediately.

11. Obeys all traffic laws and driver courtesy rules

12. Performs other incidental duties as assigned.

13. Implements and monitors safety devices & procedures.

14. Conform to company rules and obey all safety regulations.

15. Duties performed in this job may require the handling of Protected Health Information or other confidential material. Therefore, the employee is required to follow all policies and procedures outlined in the company’s HIPAA related documentation and are subject to the defined sanctions in the event that they should inappropriately use or disclose confidential material.

16. Follow all mandated safety protocols and dress codes. Think Patented is committed to the safety of its employees and requires strict adherence to all safety procedures, including but not limited to machine specific procedures, personal protective equipment, dress code, restricted areas, lock out / tag out procedures, walking and working surface standards, and fall protection systems

Position Requirements:

1. Ability to drive large trucks and fork lifts.

2. Be familiar with street and highway metro area; be able to read road and street maps.

3. Obey traffic laws; be a safe and courteous driver. Must be able to lift, carry and/or move heavy boxes manually or with specified equipment.

4. Must be quality and service-oriented for representing the company on the road.

5. Must meet all current requirements dictated by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

6. Must pass safety training.
