Showroom Consultant – Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Compensation: Base Salary + Commission | Bonuses Available | Competitive Benefits

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about design and enjoy helping people bring their visions to life? Tile Inc. is looking for a Showroom Consultant to join our team. In this customer-facing role, you'll act as a design advisor to our primarily retail clients, helping them select tile products that meet both their aesthetic and functional needs. You’ll guide customers through the selection process with confidence, creativity, and outstanding service—from first inspiration to final order.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with customers to understand their style, needs, and project goals
  • Use your design sensibilities to recommend suitable tile options
  • Manage sales orders from consultation through completion
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of our products (training provided)
  • Promote company products and uphold pricing and margin goals
  • Provide clear and professional communication throughout the sales process
  • Keep the showroom looking fresh, clean, and visually inspiring
  • Prepare samples, organize displays, and support commercial clients
  • Seek out new business opportunities and follow up on leads

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of sales or retail experience in a professional setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Windows and Google Docs environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent (design coursework a plus)
  • Basic understanding of design elements—color, proportion, balance, and lighting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and collaboratively

This role may require occasional same-day travel.
