Duties

• Transport food orders from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, utensils, or additional items as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks when required, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and disposing of trash properly.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing friendly, attentive guest service and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure proper hygiene practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently.
• Experience with bussing or serving in banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly in busy environments.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members alike.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in bussing and food delivery.
• A positive attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork; previous hotel or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
