IMMEDIATE HIRE – Senior Lead EEO Investigator (Hybrid – NYC)

Paramint LLC is actively seeking a Senior Lead EEO Investigator for an immediate W2 contract opportunity supporting the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Office of Equal Employment Opportunity & Diversity.

Start Date: May 26, 2026
Location: Hybrid – NYC (LeFrak Office)
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday
Urgency: Candidates must be available to start immediately.

Position Overview:
This role will support DEP’s EEO Office in managing a significant backlog of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints and reasonable accommodation (RA) requests. The selected candidate will assist in investigative and compliance-related functions under the supervision of DEP’s EEO leadership team.

Hybrid Work Requirement:
Consultants are expected to report onsite to the LeFrak office 2 days per week. Depending on operational needs, this may increase to up to 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct EEO complaint intake, triage, and documentation
  • Conduct investigative interviews with complainants, witnesses, and subjects
  • Review evidence and prepare investigative summaries and reports
  • Support reasonable accommodation review processes and cooperative dialogue discussions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation
  • Track case progress and support compliance reporting
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and other internal stakeholders
  • Assist with recommendations and corrective action documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of investigative experience
  • Strong experience in EEO investigations, employee relations, or compliance investigations
  • Familiarity with Title VII, ADA, NYSHRL, NYC Human Rights Law, and related EEO policies
  • Strong analytical writing, interviewing, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Former EEOC investigator experience strongly preferred
  • JD, PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar credential preferred
  • Experience drafting formal investigative findings and recommendations
