Duties

• Monitor premises using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security issues or hazards.
• Verify the identity of visitors and contractors, managing access points efficiently and courteously.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Assist with conflict management by calmly addressing disputes or disturbances to maintain a peaceful environment.

Skills

• Strong observational skills with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious behavior quickly.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems for effective monitoring.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance in emergencies.
• Experience or training in law enforcement, military, or security fields is highly advantageous.
• Excellent conflict management skills with a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols to protect assets effectively.
