Job Overview
Design Elements is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Remodeling Installer to join our growing team. This position focuses primarily on residential bathroom & kitchen remodels, flooring installation, and general remodeling work throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate should have experience in residential remodeling, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and quality craftsmanship on job sites. This kind of role typically includes carpentry, flooring, trim installation, demo work, remodeling work, and use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities:

• Install Interior and Exterior Doors, Including Measuring, Fitting, and Adjustments
• Perform Trim Carpentry Work, including Baseboards, Crown Molding, and Casing
• Install Bathroom Wall Panels and Assist with Remodeling Projects
• Ensure all Work Meets Company Quality Standards and Project Specifications
• Maintain Clean and Organized Job Sites
• Communicate Professionally with Team Members and Homeowners
• Safely use Hand and Power Tools to Complete Tasks Efficiently

Preferred Experience:

• Residential Remodeling Experience
• Bathroom Remodeling experience Preferred
• Knowledge of Carpentry, Trim Work, Flooring, and Tile Installation
• Ability to use Hand Tools and Power Tools Safely
• Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
• Ability to Lift and Carry Construction Materials

Qualifications

• 2+ years of carpentry or finish carpentry experience preferred
• Experience with door installation, trim work, and/or bathroom remodeling
• Ability to read measurements and use standard carpentry tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 75–100 lbs
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
