Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide essential legal support across a variety of practice areas, including family law, estate planning, estate administration and criminal defense. Your expertise will help ensure our firm delivers comprehensive legal services to clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, contracts, wills, trusts, and other administrative filings with precision and clarity.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, negotiations, and client meetings by organizing case files and summarizing key information.
- Support estate planning activities by drafting estate documents and advising clients on related legal options.
- Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes in various legal matters.
- Stay current on developments in multiple practice areas such as landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, and tribal regulations to provide accurate legal counsel.
- Maintain detailed records of case activities and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility for admission in relevant jurisdictions.
- Proven experience or strong interest in practicing multiple areas of law including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent case law and statutory information.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafting tailored to different audiences.
- Strong research skills combined with analytical thinking to interpret complex legal issues effectively.
- Prior experience working in a busy law office environment or legal administrative setting is preferred.
