Duties

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Control access points by verifying credentials of visitors, contractors, and staff to prevent unauthorized entry
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security of all areas
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor entries for record-keeping purposes
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism activities
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to ensure swift resolution of issues

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management strategies, and emergency response procedures
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations while managing conflicts effectively
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods throughout shifts
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and maintaining confidentiality at all times
