Picker/Packer

Job Summary

Duties

• Efficiently pick items to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit
• Operate heavy equipment such as, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively
• Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying inbound and outbound shipments through warehouse management systems
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure order accuracy, product integrity, and compliance with company standards
• Assist in stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized storage areas for optimal warehouse distribution efficiency

Skills

• Proven experience operating, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy equipment in a warehouse environment
• Experience in shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, picking & packing processes
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques for safety
• Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols, quality control standards, and materials handling procedures
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to ensure accurate order processing

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
