Retail Sales Associate for Street Festivals

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable Sales Person focused on selling our products and bringing our story to life at weekend festivals in the Chicagoland area.

In this role, you will be representing our brand and values, providing an exceptional customer experience and driving sales in a fun and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be independently driven, have a passion for helping customers find the right products to suit their style and excel at building excitement for sustainable fashion and social impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Represent Ecodunia’s mission of eco-conscious, fair-trade craftsmanship with pride
• Set up and tear down tents, tables, signage, and product displays at (primarily) outdoor events
• Load and unload inventory and supplies
• Greet customers, engage them warmly, and confidently close sales
• Process sales through a mobile POS system (Shopify)
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing booth
• Hit sales goals

• Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic — you enjoy selling and talking to customers
• Comfortable with mobile devices for processing sales
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Physically able to lift and carry tents, bins, and equipment
• Flexibility
• Able to work outdoors in all conditions (rain or shine)

Preferred but not required:

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a Uhaul
• Previous experience in sales, events, or festival sales

This is an independent contractor role. You will be paid a base guarantee of $18/hr plus commission.
